How to embed a calculator on your website

The one-line method

Every calculator on EasyPercentage is available as an embeddable widget using a standard HTML <iframe> element. Select the calculator you want in the builder above, copy the snippet, and paste it into your page's HTML exactly where you want the calculator to appear. The embed works on any platform that allows custom HTML: WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Wix, Ghost, raw HTML files, and anything else.

WordPress step by step

In the WordPress block editor, click the plus icon to add a new block and search for "Custom HTML." Paste the embed snippet into the block. Switch to Preview mode to see the calculator live. The calculator will display at the width you chose — Standard (600px) fits comfortably inside most post content areas. If your sidebar is narrow, use Compact (420px) instead. You can also use the Classic Editor's Text tab and paste the code directly into the HTML source.

Squarespace and Webflow

In Squarespace, add a Code block to your page (available on Business plan and above) and paste the snippet. In Webflow, add an Embed element from the Add panel, open the code editor, and paste. Both platforms render the iframe immediately. The calculator inherits no styles from the host page — it will look identical to the preview above regardless of your site's CSS.

Choosing the right width

Standard (600px) is the best default for article bodies and landing pages. It gives the calculator enough room to display all fields and results without scrolling. Compact (420px) is suitable for sidebar placements or floated layouts where the content area is narrow. Full Width stretches the iframe to 100% of its container — useful for dedicated tool pages where the calculator is the primary content. All three sizes are fully responsive on mobile.

What your visitors will see

The embedded calculator looks and behaves exactly like the standalone page, with one difference: the site header, navigation, and footer are hidden so the widget blends into your page. All calculations run entirely in the visitor's browser — no data is sent to any server. There are no ads, no pop-ups, no cookie consent banners, and no signup prompts inside the embed. The sales tax calculator, tip calculator, and grade calculator are the most-embedded tools for general audiences; the VAT calculator and profit margin calculator are popular with business and finance blogs.

Dark mode

Each calculator detects the visitor's system preference and switches to dark mode automatically. If your site uses a dark theme, the embedded calculator will match without any configuration on your part. There is no option to force a specific theme — the calculator always follows the visitor's preference, which gives the most accessible experience.

Why we keep embeds ad-free

Many embeddable tools inject ads into the widget frame, which means the blogger who embeds the tool is unknowingly sending their readers to an ad-heavy experience. EasyPercentage will never do this. The embed is the same clean, no-ad interface as the main site. This is not a freemium limitation — there is no paid tier. The site is supported by the authors' time and has no monetization. If you use these embeds and find them useful, a link back to easypercentage.org is the best way to support the project, though it is never required. You can also link to individual tools like the discount calculator or percentage change calculator as contextual references in your content.
